I'm not gone, just had a minor set back- but I'm back!

I blew out my back and strained a muscle in my abdomen area. After 3 days I had to go to the doctor because the pain was so bad all I wanted to do was sleep. I have been laying very low and the pain now is mostly gone! Really don't want to push myself and risk injuring it again. Hoping to start exercising again mid-week, realllyyyyy could use the exercise. I feel like every time I start doing well with diet and exercise, some sort of illness or injury happens and sidetracks me for a while. I know that once this is all healed up, I'll be back at it. I suppose that even though I get sick or injured, all that matters is I keep my goal in mind and get back to the healthy rhythm as soon as I can! :)

    I agree ... I feel like when I get a good routine down or am really motivated to stay on track something comes up. It is hard to get back into a routine but you can do it. Remember to listen to your body ... no more injuries.

    Get back to exercise as your body permits. Sounds like tuning into your body might help. "Tuning in" also requires slower and more deliberate effort, which will also help.

Really glad to see how motivated you are. Just don't be over-motivated or you'll end up as a wreck -- like me. emoticon
