Normal BMI & pic with goal (dream) pants

Sunday, November 10, 2013

I am so excited today because my weight is finally moving again. This entire calendar year it has fluctuated around 150 give or take 3-4 pounds in either direction but for the most part - it was not a plateau, it had flat lined. With the help of my new doctor (dealing with some health issues & tweaking my diet), I am hopeful that my body can improve. I've been stuck for so long that I recently gave up.

Anyhow, this morning I weighed in at 144.4 which equates to a normal BMI & I am no longer concerned that this is a fluke & I'll weigh more tomorrow. Things are going GREAT!!! I don't recall why but something popped into my head this morning about my "goal pants". About 6 years ago I was given a bag of clothes by a friend & found the cutest pair of size 6 jeans in there. They had holes, patches, stitching, painted flowers & were very "hip". I loved them & threw them in my closet knowing full well at the time that I would NEVER EVER be able to wear them. It was more of a DREAM than a GOAL because I was a size 16.

Fast forward to today... here I am in my pants. Bear in mind that my sweater is hiding my muffin top & I can't sit down - - but they are on & I didn't even have to lay down to button them!! LOL.

When they fit a little better I'll post another pic & they can make their public debut!
