THE DOOR SWINGS BOTH WAYS

Sunday, November 10, 2013

many emotional doors in life, in order to grow you must experience both sides, so the door swings both ways.

If a door can open, it can close.
In order to stand still, you must know what movement is.
Thinking with no boundaries, is knowing confining space in the box.
Opening up awareness, is the opposite of being closed minded.
To go outside yourself, you must be able to go inside yourself.
In order to understand clarity, you must understand confusion.
To live in the present, is to give up the past.
In order to not feel, you must have felt.
In order to understand love, you must understand loss.
To feel pain, you must understand joy
Seeing the light, is not seeing the dark .
Smiling, is a frown upside down.
To grow, is to not do nothing.

That is a lovely sentiment above! How are you doing Eva? I was thinking the longer I am n Spark People the more used to members popping in and out of the site. It makes me miss certain friends lol. I should be talking I disappeared for a year once.

Thanks for the comment on my Birthday blog entry. I know I said to my lovely Paolo that he doesn't need to buy me jewelry. I didn't mind the gold band & necklace honestly, they were both quite lovely! He's a jewelry man and I accept it :)~ Paolo is a great guy & he gives fabulous meaningful gifts so I can't complain. He's trying to keep up my spirits since I am fairly worried about my brother's surgery Friday.

Paolo stays away from buying me clothes unless I am there to supervise because when it comes to food and clothes I can be very picky about the items. I don't think the SO will buy himself something and say its for me though, ever.

Like has many paradoxical situations. Spark People is one as well! If you fail to join SP and do what is expected you will stay the same, if you stay the same you will need to join SP! If you join SP you will loose weight, feel better, make friends and be happy; if you loose weight, make friends and you are happy will will continue to use SP! Love ya! emoticon emoticon emoticon

    This was FANTASTIC!~

I especially love the last line because so many tend to believe that if they do nothing, everything stays the same, and that is absolutely not true. To do nothing is to MAKE A DECISION to do nothing. Your fate changes even by not making the choice.

Love you, Eva, have a blessed Sunday
