Procrastination

This week hasn't really been going how I wanted it to. I have been extremely lazy and it's really putting a damper on my mood. It really doesn't help that I'm actively aware I'm being lazy and not doing anything about it.

If it weren't for getting woken up to go somewhere by a family member, I would probably be spending my entire days laying in bed.

More evidence of how lazy I'm getting is how late in the day this blog update is. I seriously waited until the last hour of the day.

Someone please help me out of this funk. I don't want to be like this. Any suggestions?


The only good thing I've been able to achieve is drinking more water. In fact, I've been drinking nothing but water since Tuesday.

That's it for now. Hopefully I'm doing much better for next week's update. In the meantime, wish me luck!

    Maybe eating more yogurt and having some kind of veggie or fruit for breakfast will help you feel better? If you can make dietary changes little by little, it will help you to build on it. I find adjusting nutrition to be the bigger thing, and not so much exercise. Just have it in your mindset to eat an extra veggie or fruit a day and that should help you until you can add more.

    When I feel like that I do whatever I can to change up my surroundings. I take a walk, listening to some music I love. Or watch some uplifting movies.

    But lately whenever I feel in a funk, I log onto sparkpeople, I start reading peoples blogs from my sparkteams to try offer motivation, or advice. Helping others, or sharing with others, helps me listen to my own advice, or just makes me feel good. And in turn, hearing peoples stories, helps me not feel alone in this, because everyone is in, or was in the same place as me at one point.

    Just take a moment, think about why you are on this journey, really try visualize your ideal, and just start taking little steps toward, no need to leap and get overwhelmed. Every small change builds up to something great.

    I know you can get out of this!

    i was in a funk for almost 3months. i know that's a long time. i do my measurements monthly and when i gained back 0.5in on my hips i broke out of it. so hopefully u get out of ur funk before something like that happens to u. wish u the best of luck
