To me, this topic is common sense! If you don't eat breakfast, you will be hungrier by lunch and inclined to eat more. Some people say they don't eat breakfast because it makes them hungry all day long. I've actually heard this from my husband! BUT... if you train your stomach to have breakfast, and then to know that you are going to have lunch in a reasonable time, your stomach will get used to it. I know if I skip breakfast, later in the day, I'm famished, that's when I tend to overeat.
My reality is now almost normal, in that I am working a day job, after almost 5 years on midnights. On a good day, I wake up early and go workout. I will usually stop for coffee on my way to work, and eat an apple or a piece of fruit. I make the coffee taste good by adding some tasty creamers, so it does provide some calories. My problem is lunch. I need to get in the habit of packing my lunch so I stay away from the fast food places. My head knows what to do, now I just need to do it!
I will pack my lunch for tomorrow. I have some deli turkey and some low fat cheese. I also have fruit to take and I got a great deal on some sweet peppers today at the grocery store. Sounds like a good lunch to me!
