MY FRIDAY....DOING WELL SO FAR...

Thursday, November 07, 2013

Another week alomost gone....can't keep up with them at present.....
Hubby arrived home last night quite a while before I showed up....poor guy....I ended up bringing home fish and chips for dinner and throwing a salad together when i got in....I am sure he lived on takeaways while he was away and then comes home to get them again....had a late meeting and then had a mission to do so dinner was really late....
Will make up for it tonight...we have people coming for dinner tonight so have got half of it prepared already.......
Will goi9 out asoon to do a few things and get a chicken and some ham and maybe make another salad and that will be donner...

My youngest....who has just had his 28th birthday...is preforming again so I think it is time I seriously consider selling the house that he is in....he is not paying the rent and hasn't most of this year nor the bills thta are in my name....he abandoned his job over 3 months ago so think it is time to get rid of this place and cut our losses with it...hasn't been at all a good investment and certainly wouldn't have family renting from us again...
It is going to be a battle to get him out as he thinks the world revolves around him and everyone should just bow to him however this course has ben run...
Woul really appreciate your prayers with this......it is not going to be an easy journey....it will most likely get very sour on the way....
Thanks heaps

Be strong - family can be a challenge. These situations are like our weight loss journey, you have to be consistent and focused.

It must be a difficult time for your family. Praying that the situation works out the best for everyone.

    Good luck!!
Sounds like a sticky situation with your son - I will be thinking of you and hope things get taken care of without it going really badly.
We are just helping our eldest son (just turned 18 at the end of August) try to get himself going. He's not sure exactly what he wants to do and we just helped him purchase a car so he can get back and forth to work (instead of me driving him everywhere) and he's been doing lawn care. It's nearly the end of the growing season and he hasn't been working too much lately so his payments to us have slowed down.
We're hoping that he decides soon that he needs to either get another job or look at starting at a trade school somewhere. He's not one that really enjoys school even though the math, science and computer classes come pretty easy for him.

Anyway, lots of luck with that situation and hope you and hubby
have a good time with your dinner guests.

You are right, it won't be easy, but you know what? You are helping him to find his way in the adult world. And he will discover through your gentle persistence, that the world does NOT revolve around him. That he DOES have to take care of responsibilities such as rent, etc. And it will serve him well.

Best of luck to you. It is going to be just fine!
