Ugh I'm bloated and uncomfortable but it's my own fault for going full bore into this healthy eating thing again. I know my body doesn't adapt well to excess fiber. All these veggies and fruits are good for me but I have to do it in stages or I get crazy upset stomach.

Tonight I'm having dinner with my cousins at a restaurant in our Italian District. The portions are huge so I'll have dinner for tonight and tomorrow night. I'm planning it well though because they have a grilled chicken breast with steamed veggies and a pasta side as well as a house salad. I am planning my day around it though so I should be fine as far as intake is concerned. That is if I can actually manage to eat it.

Last night it took a lot of effort for me to eat my dinner. It tasted good but I'm just so full from the extra fiber that it can be uncomfortable to eat. I did leftovers in a condensed version - about half of the portions I'd had the previous night.

I'm very sleepy today but I stayed up too late last night so it is my own fault. I think I'll use my lunch hour to take a twenty minute power nap in my car and then come back and throw together my salad.

    I appreciate your input but I drink minimum 4 - 32 ounce bottles of water every day. That is not counting the cups of green tea I consume throughout the day. I also didn't count the cup of water with ACV and hot lemon water I drink in the morning. I don't think drinking more water will help. When you go from 0 fiber to 30 a day your body just needs time to get on board.

    you need to up the water as they more fiber you eat the more liquid you need to flush it - if you dont you will get gas and very bloated
