Well that explains a LOT

I started Sparking in early August. I have lost 12 pounds so far. I have worked my tail off, counted every bite, and went weeks and weeks without a budge on the scale. The last few weeks I have run every single day between 800 and 1000 calories below what I have burned. The scale wont budge. I have fought like mad for the 12 pounds I have lost.

I talked to the pain doc today..... its the steroid shots for my neck.... I was concerned about getting too many of them, and too often. He said yeah its not good it can make you gain weight. The light bulb went on...

I will NOT use it as an excuse to throw in the towel. I do feel tons better, stronger, healthier, happier. I HAVE lost weight. Not bad for having just quit smoking and steroids on top of it. I can stop blaming myself now, and looking for reasons why... now I know.

    Excellent job on the 12lbs. Don't cut your calories too low....that'll stall the weightloss as well. Maybe shoot for a 500 calorie deficit instead of 1,000 and see if that helps.
