Well yesterday was a minor psychological victory. I did not exercise at all. I behaved relatively well on my food choices. Although I was out late and had a snack when I got home. I did enjoy a few beers with friends over the course of the evening.
And then I stepped on the scale this morning fully expecting to see it had gone up. And the opposite was true. It actually went down a half pound.
Still letting that sink in.
Not that I am going to sit on my laurels so to speak. I am heading to the gym this evening. And plan for my 65 minutes on the bike. Unless I decide to walk to the gym. Then it will be a total of 75 minutes, 40 walking and 35 on the bike. Havenít decided if I want to try that and brave how cold I will be. Temps took a mini nose dive here last night so I may chicken out. But either way I will get it in.
I just got an email at work, we have had a healthy lifestyles program for a couple years and up till now, I have never participated mainly because I know I didnít lead one. We are doing a holiday hold contest. We weigh in between November 18 and 21. And then like the second week in January we weigh out. If we either hold or lose we get $25 added to our account. I GOT THIS! Easy way to start it and get some money for health expenses.
One nice thing about yesterday too was that I remembered I have a three day weekend! Always a plus!
