Day 220 - Oh the Salt Intake!

Last night, I made for my family roast beef sandwiches and put it in the crock pot before heading out to work at 6 pm. All I asked of my husband is that in several hours, unplug the crock and store the rest of the food in the fridge.
He may have just done that....hmmmm....
So, after my treadmill workout, I warmed up some roast beef for lunch. The beef fell apart instantly and I also noticed the juice was all gone.....hmmmmm.....
After eating half the sandwich, I noticed it was very salty. Still good though. I did eat another sandwich, but I added water to the beef hoping to dilute it. Crap, it was very salty!
As a result, all day long afterwards, I have been very thirsty! I probably drank 10 glasses of water, if not more!
I am now anticipating that for the next several days, I will weigh heavier due to the water. I am also anticipating that once the salt works it's way out of my body, I will start peeing like there is no tomorrow! Well, there may go a good night's sleep tomorrow night or the next night...
As for my treadmill workout, yesterday I did 3.5 miles of mostly jogging and .5 miles of walking on various degrees of incline. I definitely felt it in my butt!
Today, I did 1.5 miles of jogging and sprinting. Then I did .5 miles of mostly jogging on various degrees of incline. I am definitely feeling it in my legs and butt!
I hope tomorrow and Friday, I can maintain another session on the treadmill. Saturday and Sunday will be a day of rest from exercising since I will be working 10 and 12 hour days.
Still hoping to get that phone call that I got the job I applied and interviewed for...
