Bonafide Fitness Minutes! (And Closet Find)

Yes! I managed to do 35 minutes of bike and 20 of core work and 15 or so of stretching. I did about an hour at the gym. It felt great. But, I don't want to go all crazy. I'm going back slowly three times a week. However, I have been walking more throughout my day and purposefully going places by foot. I do need to go to PT because my ankle's mobility is sh*t. I know it will get there.

Anyway, it's back on! Oh, and want to hear the awesomest thing? I found a long-sleeved red shirt I bought this summer for winter with the tags still on it. Woo hoo! I wore it yesterday, and I looked really good in it. It's like I went shopping. Ha ha ha.

    Love it when I find things in my closet that suddenly work into my wardrobe! I do not enjoy shopping, so when I can "shop" in my own closet, I get excited!

Congrats on getting back to the gym. I hope you can make yourself go slow and listen to your body. Back when I hurt my knee, it took forever to get over it because I kept jumping back in too quickly. Had pretty much given up ever jogging again, until I switched to low impact activities for a long stretch (like a year!) and then discovered I had finally let it heal enough to start over. Now I am jogging again, but I think I will always take walk breaks throughout my jogs. I just do NOT want to chance getting hurt again over going just a bit faster. Not worth it!
