first interview for the best job I have ever hope to have

Wednesday, November 06, 2013

Finally got the first interview for the job I really want. If I get this job it will give me the money I need to live. (pay all the bills each month) & still have the time & money to have a life. I will be able to have the time to get back to the gym & the money to afford the fees. This job also comes with benefits. it is a job with the city so it come with top of the line benefits. I am looking forward to getting my teeth fixed. I know this is only the first step but I have applied for this job 7 times in the past & this is the first time they have given me the chance to go through the first round of test/ interviews. I know lots of others who have been hired in the past & this is typical. I am more than qualified for the job I have all the qualifications they are looking for & I hope that this will be the last time I have to apply. I am just holding my breath till I go through the process. I can only hope I get the job at this point.

    Think Positive!
You KNOW you have all the qualifications. The interview is where you both decide if your work personalities go together. Be confident and yourself.

PS: Tell them this is your dream job and why (stick to why you love the work stuff, not benefits to you) Your persistence is a definite plus in your favor! Employers WANT Positive, motivated employees who are jazzed about their jobs! Emphasize your dependability and reliability.

(I was a hiring mgr at a Fortune 100 company for16 yrs)
