Long Ash Day For One reason Or The Other

Today has been one long ash day for one reason or the other. I'm tried (more on that in a bit), I have nagging sinus headache (not really enough of one to medicate myself yet), and I'm achy all over (could be a result of the headache though). emoticon

I only got 4 1/2 hrs sleep last night. After all the food and just plain crap I ate, I jumped on the treadmill at home for 2 hours last night. After that I did dishes and logged stuff here, so it was like almost midnight before I got to bed. And of course hubby wakes me up at 5 AM every morning to get him off to work. So I know I'm tried. At this point in the afternoon I just want a nap! But since I'm not off work yet...that's not going to happen! emoticon

When I get home I'll take something for this nagging sinus headache. I don't like to take something then drive my car. I'm pretty sure that the headache and lack of sleep is the main reason I feel so achy right now. I'm thinking it should be an early night to night. emoticon

Dinner last night was better. We had Corn Chowder. I always make a huge pot of it then freeze some of it, just for nights like last night...I was tried...late getting home (traffic in this city SUCKTH big time!). I was craving carbs again, so I had two hamburger buns...just that..no meat..just the buns, with my chowder. Then of course the 2 hours on the treadmill.

Not sure what's on the menu for tonight. We still have the Aria gift card to use. It expires on Sat. If hubby wants to go tonight that's OK...but we might wait until Friday night. I'll be going home a bit early on Fri. We (at work) are doing a pizza and movie team building thing. Pizza at work then off to catch the opening day showing of the new Thor movie. The movie theater is like half way home for me..so I'll be going there after the movie. emoticon

I only got 50 mins in the gym today. I forgot my locker key upstairs at my desk and had to come back to get it. But at least I DID come back to get it...I was thinking I just skip working out today..after all I have the 2 hrs from last night. But noooo...my inner self wouldn't let me. So I did 50 mins in the time I had. I was a bit late getting back to my desk. emoticon

OK..that's it for me today. Happy Hump day!! emoticon Two more days then I'm off for a week!

    You know what, kiddo? I'm no expert on fitness, but I'm thinking you ought not be doing 2 hours on that sucker at a shot. Especially right after dinner. You ought to ask Archimedes about that. I do wish you could get more sleep.
