Blog Challenge- Day 7

7. What is your least favorite physical activity overall? at the gym? Explain.

I don't really have one, though I do avoid my weights. I know I should do ST regularly, and I feel good when I do it, but... I have some kind of mental block when it comes to picking up my weights. I don't dislike it, I just don't do it very often.


I overslept this morning. Had to run out with just a banana for breakfast. NOT the way I like to start a day! I will check and make certain my alarm is set for tomorrow morning. I was only 15 minutes late for my appointment, but I called right before I ran out to the car and let the Dr office know and they were very nice about it. The Dr prescribed two medications, but one has to have pre authorization by my insurance company, so I might not be able to get it until Friday... if they approve it at all.

    If there is one thing I am consistent with that's a power breakfast! The quickest way is blending a bunch of fruit, protein powder and soy beverage, perking it up with ginger -my vitamix takes less then a minute to churn it smooth. The speed I need!
I hate hearing about how my American friends have to wait on medicine because of insurance and then no guarantees it will be approved, that is just awful :( Hope they will allow it for you!
There is a goal for you -ST- find a way to make it more appealing or set aside regular time for it. I have been guilty of the same thing, doesn't help my right arm is in bad shape right now :(

    I did work with 3 different trainers one on one at different times at different gyms I belonged to. I found them very helpful in using the equipment correctly, setting up routines and revising them at different times, and helping to challenge me. The best trainer was the one who didnít talk about his personal life but focused on the exercises I needed to do and was watchful when starting a new routine with me or upping the intensity. I learned a lot from him and was sorry when I changed jobs and changed to another gym.

    I get busy in the morning and just grab a banana. Then I am hungry for lunch. I know a good breakfast is very important.

    That's going to be me tomorrow - running out the door in the morning. After not having to get up for work since Saturday, I'm not sure how lickety split I'll be getting up for work tomorrow.
