So total craziness

Wednesday, November 06, 2013

I thought I was all covered with getting my medications to stay longer but then the Canadian company changed it's rules and will only send prescriptions to the country where they are issued. Geez and it's taken them two weeks to tell me. So totally frustrating. But the good news is all my kindness paid off to the ex-wife who works in a hospital and is friends with doctors. One is going to see me Friday to help me out. Thank goodness as we had already changed our flights.

So both grandkids are coughing and sneezing and such and I am doing all I can to not get sick again. Holy cow. I am spraying things with Lysol, and using hand sanitizer and such. and trying to teach them to cough into their shoulders. when they cough around me I try and hold my breath. So hard when they want to hug you all the time. But I really don't want to get sick again.

I do hope you all are doing just great and are having a great week.
cheers
Sallie

Stay healthy and keep telling the grandkids to keep you well too. Maybe make it a game like the sweets that you are doing.

Yup, good thing you were nice to the ex! Am so glad that it worked out, because -aside from the kids havng those colds - you deserve to enjoy Thanksgiving with those little people you love so much!!

Hmmm... you ARE spraying just 'things' not the kids, right? lol? Hey, it's tempting at times!

You're proceeding one step at a time, pursuing reasonable alternatives, and not panicking. It will all work out.

It's good you can teach the kids to use their elbows and shoulders because they NEED your hugs!

So sorry you have to deal with all this. Sick kids are the worst!! Hoping everything you are doing to prevent it works for you!
Terrible about the drugs, glad you have a solution!
If I plan to go somewhere (and I am hoping to if I can ever get some time off from the club!!) my pharmacy allows up to 2 months worth of prescriptions to be filled so I can take them with me. All I have to do is have an authorized note from my Dr. allowing me to carry this medicine.
    Hope those kids recover soonest!!

Hope all goes well with getting the meds. The fact that you cannot get them from Canada is another step in the Pharmaceutical company's being in total control of our health for their profit. The own the FDA and AMA and want the American people on drugs from birth to death for their profit

What an annoyance! Sounds like you are going to get the meds you need, thank heavens, but not without inconvenience and worry. I sure understand you not wanting to get sick. Sounds like you are doing your best. Stay well, Sallie.
