A couple blowout days....

Wednesday, November 06, 2013

...Yet here I am again. One thing I've noticed recently with this calorie restriction being tighter than I've done for several years is when I get off-course, I really wallow in it. It's like my body is telling me it's gonna get all the goodies it can while the getting is good.

A few stressful days. One nice thing - we booked our tickets for my son and I to go visit his grandparents in Kansas and Oregon in mid-Feb. I absolutely need to get myself in a groove with eating before that happens because I always put on weight when I go home. Lots of eating, drinking, and making merry occurs. :)

I am an overly-protective mamma. My son is almost 20 and my daughter is 22, and there are many days when I would like to get their bosses by the neck and choke them. How dare they treat my babies badly? I have no respect for ANYONE who takes out frustration and aggression on others without manning-up after and telling them they are sorry. I can't fight my kids' battles and this will happen in any sort of job situation they have, so they need to learn to deal with it. I would really, truly like to kick some Boss Butt though.

My sweet possums will be going soon to pre-release at my friends' house. Here's a recent photo of Miss Rosie-Posie....she looks huge but that's just perspective. She weighs about 350 grams now.

Lovely possum! Sometimes you just have to have a good binge and not be too hard on yourself - it's all about balance - something I'm learning about these days also :) emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Well I could say many things both pro/con about beating the crap out of users and abusers. Then the more calmer turtle-in-training comes forth and says wiser things like "let it be", etc.

How about this: this too shall pass.??? That's a good one!

As to your program, now what? I can see how perhaps you did it at the same time these issues on your children came up. And this helped them how?

So you have to put your self first and foremost and stay the course. Perhaps there is a part of you that is acting towards you like your kids bosses are acting to them???

It does not matter how old our children get, they are still our babies and e want to protect them.
Love the fact that you are going home with your 20 years old son.
