    Thanks for the information.

Sometimes it is so difficult to know, we have to take the doctors advice, and go from there. We do have to weigh the risks against the benefits, and watch our furry friends closely for any adverse affects.

    Thanks for the info. Our Weimaraner was on an NSAID following his herniated disk surgery. That provided pain relief as well as an anti-inflammatory but we had to take him off of it earlier than expected because he was having bloody diarrhea. It cleared within 3 days but I couldn't bring myself to put him back on it. As said above, all meds have risks as well as benefits. You have to be cautious!

    Unfortunately all meds have risks. You have to weigh the risk to the benefit.
