E- Enthusiasm....

1. Rapturous interest or excitement.

2.Ardent fondness or eagerness; zeal.

Enthusiasm! Now this I've got! I am enthusiastic about so many things in my life!
I love life! I look at most things through a child's eyes.
Some may call me silly, but I would not change it for anything. emoticon

I can get my babble going and go on and on, big eyed and grinning, getting excited about the smallest thing.

Yes, people get a good chuckle on occasion and some just think I am weird, with my zest for life, but I encourage you to try it!

I am enthusiastic about movement, silly workouts, walking in nature, and yes, food. emoticon
Enthusiastic about the possibilities, the visions in my head, of thinner, leaner Chris, with extra energy and good health.

I am enthusiastic, visualizing growing old, healthy and toned, feeling young at heart, accomplishing goals and setting new ones.

Enthusiasm for learning new things, sure beats, being afraid!
Sure I can be afraid or anxious, but I work hard at flipping the switch in my brain, to become enthusiastic. A fake it till I make it, kind of thing, and guess what? It works!!

On days, when I wake up on the wrong side of the bed, I really feel strange. It is not me to go through the day without a smile and I am thankful that these days are few and far between.
I work on flipping the switch, because I NEED to be energetic(another E word) and enthusiastic.

Did you know that I had to teach myself to smile with my mouth open? I did, back when I was in high school. I always smirked. lol. I stood in front of a mirror and practiced my "toothy" smile and I have not regretted it. It is hard to have a big smile on and not be enthusiastic. emoticon

Enthusiasm is like a big fun party going on, all the time!!! emoticon

Approach your weight loss, workouts, healthy cooking and self improvement with enthusiasm and you will not only feel great and have fun, but may help others along the way, reach their goals with a smile on their face.

On my Spark Page I wrote that I could probably make looking at a rock seem like fun! Or something to that effect. The point being that I love life too! We can't always change the situations we are in so we might as well make the best of them.

I also wrote once in a blog that I think we always look better with a smile on our face! Those pictures that people catch of us when we are not smiling look horrible! And in case anyone is wondering we actually look better with out mouths open and our teeth showing when we smile. Just like you I hated the way that I smiled in High School and I would stand in front of the mirror also practice my smile. To this day that practice comes to my mind when I get my picture taken. Just goes to show how old habits stick around.

So lets SMILE and enjoy the day! emoticon

Makes so much sense Chris and a good reminder to allow ourselves the choice to make something fun and positive. Makes life so much more fulfilling .

Years ago I worked for some years as an RN in a busy ER. Every day was chaotic and crazy. We had a boss who was very positive and upbeat. Her words have stuck with me. She used to say "...if you come to work feeling negative, or with a bad attitude, then check it at the door and pick it up when you leave. Our patients need us to be positive.." it was a big daily reminder with her. I liked it.

We have control over the vibes and energy we feel and send. We can check the negative at the door and choose the positive .

It is so much nicer, easier and feels better to turn something into a memory we can look back on with a good feeling.

Thanks ...I am going to work on this today.

Enthusiasm is a great thing to have, Chris. Without it, we would not enjoy anything in our life and we would just exist instead of live! Yours is catching, lol. Keep on smiling and staying cheery!

I think so many people lose their enthusiasm as they get older and take on more and more responsibilities, What an inspiration to realize what my life is lacking.
