Excited

Tuesday, November 05, 2013

I volunteered for a team leader on the VISION COLLAGE GALLERY TEAM. I have no idea what you that entails but I am excited to find out. If anyone needs to update or start from scratch with one, please come and join. I posted yesterday that Toaby got away from me as nd I tried to get him to come back. When I see his head bobbing over the underbrush in the weeds it almost breaks my heart. It is a beautiful thing to see, and you can feel it in your gut how happy he is. As it got dark I heard him baying and take off after something. He finally realized it was cold out and he came in. The point of the story is I did not reach my goal of 6000 steps. Today I did it easily with my shopping day. I always go to the same places. I never realized how much walking I do. I got home and To an still needed a walk. It is so weird that my same walk seems so much easier now. I need to go further, but the dog acts like he is dying. I may just bring him home and then go again. It has been fun procrastinating about that.

You will be a great team leader! I am so glad that Toaby came home! I know Beagles like to run - my BIL had some as hunting dogs.

I haven't walked outside for several months (I fell a few years ago while walking our dog and broke my arm) because I still am a little afraid I might fall. However, last Sunday I walked with my DH, DS, and dog and was able to keep up with them. The dog is a Great Pyrenees and really trotts instead of walks! I guess all of my inside workouts have helped. I was pleased!

We are making progress!

"It has been fun procrastinating about that" is a line I need to borrow and use in my own life, haha!

About the walking getting easier... Yes! I am so happy for you! This will happen (it is happening already!) You are lighter. You are fitter. Keep on walking! Especially now while the weather is relatively good compared to how it will be in a month or two.

Back when I should have been doing a vision collage I never quite accomplished it because I didn't feel I had images that resonated with me. Now, after adding some images to the "goal board" crawl on the new Start page, I realize that I could probably put something meaningful together now.
