Woo hoo!! Done hauling bales at home...
Tuesday, November 05, 2013
Hi today is a day to celebrate as we are done hauling bales at home..we would be completely done but the cowboy bought some flax straw bales from a neighbor...
Yesterday we started bright and early at the neighbors and helped him sort and load his calves for market..then hauled bales all day..cold, cold and windy but not snow like a bit further north.
Today we woke to a skiff of snow and checked through the cattle then got back to hauling bales..we have almost 1500 big round bales in so the cattle will eat well through the winter.
I went in to town to get the mail and got 3 new magazines so I have been vegging since supper...drinking light beer, eating air popped popcorn and watching hockey, reading magazines and checking out the internet...multitasking resting lol.
The 5% challenge is going great..I have been adding fiber to my days this week and have enjoyed finding ways to add it... I found some recipes for fiber bars so may try some of them, also plan to make some homemade baked beans..yum yum.
Tomorrow we may be off to the city for the day..cowboy needs some tractor parts and we have some meal gift cards to use...I may do a bit more Christmas shopping..I have a bit started so far...
Well best get back to the beer, popcorn and the 2nd hockey game of the night..Edmonton won their game..woohoo!!
Thanks for dropping by ...keep on Sparkin'
