T25 is changing my attitude

I hated the mention and word "exercise", however, T25 has started to change that for me. I think it has a lot do with the amount of time and seeing results. Although since I began I have only lost one pound, I feel amazing. I can feel a difference in my clothing which tells me that I am losing inches and that is great for me.

I know that most people are looking to lose weight (as am I) but my primary focus is health and longevity. I march to my own beat and wear my own style and that has even been in the exercise arena. So this makes T25 even more empowering for me.

I thank God daily for being able to say that in this day in age I have a 25 year old marriage, wonderful children, and an extended family that is more than awesome. It is these things that make the working out all worth it because I know I will be around to continue to take care of and love my family.

To anyone who is struggling, just take it slow and do it for yourself. If you are meeting negativity set your goals, keep them to yourself, and make a commitment with God and NOTHING will make you stray. Remember loving yourself is the first step to success.

    Those core workouts are hard!! You'll get better at them with time though as your core gets stronger. The stretches will also help with your flexibility. Maybe you can find some additional, short stretch videos even here on SparkPeople that you can do every day to help even more. The only thing I can think to tell you is that with time it gets better. emoticon emoticon

    Today was T25 Beta core and I did not nail it. This one is going to take some work on my part. Of course, I did not feel that great today but that is no excuse so I will be working even harder on the next few days.

    Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get through the core workouts when there is weight to be lost? Sometimes I think that being under 5'0'' and 30 lbs over weight may contribute to my lack of flexibility but now I think it is something else; I'm just not flexible. the stretching routines are starting to help, so I will keep at it.

    Well said ! I'm still on Insanity but thinking of trying T25 as well so I'm enjoying hearing what everyone has to say about it !

    I'm doing T25 too. It's an emoticon program. emoticon on that 1 lb loss and even more so on those non-scale victories!! emoticon emoticon emoticon
