Today we had a Diwali Festival luncheon at work. This is done by co-workers from India for all of us. This is the second year they have done it here. All the food is paid for by them. It's a nice cultural thing. The food was good but I wasn't sure how to log it, so I picked something that sounded close. It wasn't a lot of food, just small potions of this and that. A lot was vegetarian. There was some rice too. I may be way off in the calorie count, but at least I tried.
Then one of the guy's at work had a birthday today and his GF sent small cupcakes and cookie pops. Of course I had little to NO will power. I had one of each. But again...I logged it!
Since the Diwali fest was held at lunch I didn't get my workout in. But I'm bound and determined to get one at home tonight! I can do the treadmill for an hour after hubby goes to bed.
I've been wearing my FitBit to bed the last few nights. Tracking my sleep. I'm also trying to get to bed earlier each night. Maybe part of the issue I have is that I'm trying to skate along on 4-5 hrs of sleep. And maybe my body needs more rest. I don't know but I have to do something and do it NOW.
Last night I made Fatburgers (you can buy the Fatburger patties frozen) for dinner with some fries. It wasn't too bad but then I had candy after that (last of the Halloween candy...I brought the rest to work!). So once again...I was over for the day!
A friend in CA sent us a Aria (that's a hotel/casino on the Strip) gift card for $75. Thing is..it expires on Sat. So in order to use it, we have to go there this week sometime. We HATE going down to the Strip! But our friend was so sweet to think of us. She even sent me a coupon for a free coffee at The Coffee Bean and tea Leaf. We'll be seeing her (and her hubby and baby girl) next week at the race.
So I guess that's it for today...have a great rest of the day!
