Not a lot to say in a blog today!

Not a lot to blog about it seems. I got on my exercise bike for two-20 minute sessions and walked 30 minutes so that takes care of my exercise today. I'm reading a good book while on the bike and that keeps my mind from wandering and wanting to get off the bike! I get bored easily.

On one of my teams, another leader put on an exercise thread for those of us who are in our "Golden Years" and boy, does he ever have sensible ideas! I did a copy & paste of it and sent it to myself so I can read it over and over till it stays in my brain. I like the way he suggests doing things to move our body without having to use exercise equipment or go anywhere! With his excellent ideas, there just is no excuse not to exercise.

I ate healthy today except . . . and this is probably OK . . . I ate two of Weight Watchers desserts! Calories & fat & sugar fit in my plan so I'm going to say it was OK! We had a fiber filled chili for dinner tonight with some thin sliced toast. Again . . . A-OK.

I have some Royal Gala apples, bananas and some Bosc pears for snacks and I already know I don't want a snack tonight.

So on that happy note, I'll say my blog is finished!

  Gloria, wow wish I had your stamina. I just hate exercise-force myself to do it. So just a few minutes ago I did the treadmill for 15 min.! That is all I can stand. I do have a reader open-guess its not that good. I did the chair thing and walked around the house, went up lane and got mail. Now thats a lot for me. LOL I think I am feeling this 77 age. But also having had cancer in 06 took something out of me, I think. Dummy me, I didn't think to copy and paste Lew's exercise suggestions. I will go back and see if I can find it again. Betty

    Gloria, I did the same thing, I copy and pasted it in an email and printed it out. I increased the print size so I could read it better. I walked around the pool 5 times while Ginger was out sniffing, :) and I did the stand up from chair and down 10 times. We will get there. I can honestly say that my ankle and hips feel better since I have been seeing the chiropractor. Hope it continues.
