... that I have a tea towel of Cornish Cottages draped over my oven door handles. It shows whitewashed, thatch-roofed cottages surrounded by rose gardens. And did you know that palm trees also grow in Cornwall (and even the southern part of Wales.

The tea towel keeps me inspired, and makes me want to go back some day.

I saw Palm trees on the west coast of Scotland at the town of Troon, Ayrshire, on the Firth of Clyde. We stayed at the Black castle there. Beautiful place to visit. emoticon

  Hi Gail........
No, I hadn't heard about palm trees growing in that area. From your "Travels", I am also learning new things. emoticon

Yes, I had heard about the palm trees... would like to see them live in person. I have been bitten by the "Travel" bug. Too many places I would like to see for myself, live in person. It is good to have something in your future to look forward to achieving.
thanks for sharing, Audra
