Changing the clocks

Tuesday, November 05, 2013

I like this time of the year when we change the clocks. My body adapts quickly to the time change. I sleep better and feel energized. I have no trouble in the fall, it is the spring change that messes up my schedule and how I feel.

I wish they would just settle on one time and leave it be. DST has not actually accomplished the energy savings promised.

Both time changes give me a run for the money for a week or two, but then I adjust.

Spring messes with me too! Just wish it would stay light out longer!

I wish they would choose one way or the other and leave it alone.

It all messes me up. I am such a creature of habit. I'll be fine by the weekend.

emoticon I would rather they just left the time alone, but I do adjust to the fall time change so much more than the spring change.

I like it too! Some of my neighbors didn't. One set had an accident at dusk last evening, another when it should have been sunrise today. A little more time for adjustment is required for some than others. Glad you adapted well too!

We don't do this in Hawaii....although my clock did it automatically for me. I had to reset it!

I know that is right. Losing an hour of sleep in the spring is rough. Really wish they would just leave the time alone. emoticon emoticon emoticon
