So Proud

Tuesday, November 05, 2013

I am very proud of my daughter for starting the Spark Program, and being so successful at it.

I am proud of myself also, because I am also losing on a continual basis...both inches and pounds.

Above all, I am proud that I have opened myself to eating fruit when I am looking for something sweet. And heading toward raw veggies and fruits when I need my 'crunch craving' satisfied.

And, I am proud that I can have an individual serving of something....and stop.

Also proud that even when I have been ill, I still got my 6000 steps in...every day except one.

I am proud that I have only been above my calorie range 3 days since July 6, and that I was not out of control. Yes, I knew I would be over, accepted that I would be over, enjoyed the foods that would put me over the calories, and immediately after that meal/party went back to my healthier way of eating.

Yes, I am sure I could do this with the support of Spark People, but I am so glad that my daughter, TINASW, is a "Spark People," because her support and company on this journey to be less is the most meaningful for me. Thanks Tin!

I suspect this is a trick to get me to say you are my favorite kid. Not gonna happen....but, you are my favorite daughter. emoticon
