I have diabetes and should not eat sugar. I have been guilty of eating candy almost every day. I am a sugar addict and the teenager in me was saying I could have sugar when ever I wanted. I know this is not good and eating this way is bad for my life. Sugar can rob me of my health and take years off my life.
For my November goal I was going to aim on eating candy only three times a week. Even that is to much sugar for me. So I am going to go candy free for a week and than buy sugar free candies. I will not bite into a sugar filled candy bar again. There are lots of great sugar free candies that I have tried before and liked.
For treats I am going to have fruit that is in season. A good apple with an oz of high quality cheese will be a great treat. Grapes are in season now and are very sweet. Even this I need to not do tons of, just save it for that special treat. I will not reward myself with sweets I will give myself new books.
When I eat candy I feel guilty because I know it is not good for me. I should not put myself through this and will not do it any more. I will be sugar free as much as I can.
