My big goal is for many of these things to become habits:
Go for day 2 in a green smoothie streak!
Go for day 2 in a "digestive enzyme at every meal" streak!
Go for day 2 in a "walk over 3000 steps" streak!
4134 steps today! (And that is only after I bought the Fitbit at about 11 am!)
Go for day 2 in a "groom the dogs for ten minutes" streak. I didn't put this down yesterday as a goal but it is one of my November goals for pet care.
Go for day 2 in a "keep the living room tidy" streak. This goes toward my housecleaning goal for November. It is really my daughter's goal because she is the one who leaves 90% of the mess in there.
Go for day 2 in my "monitor my blood sugar and blood pressure" streak.
Go to Zumba tonight. (This will automatically push me way over the 3000 steps and even over the 6000 steps mark). GOAL NOT MET - I needed to get my ballot turned in at the polls tonight and chose my civic duty over Zumba. But I did go walk after that.
Get beauty bark for one more flower bed. Hopefully we can actually spread this too. This goes toward one of my November goals for the lawn/garden.
Beauty bark bought but not spread.
Talk to the billing office at the eye doctor re. vision testing costs. This goes toward one of my November goals for education.
I still need to check out one more doctor's office though.
Look at washing machines online. Our washing machine was pronounced DOA yesterday by the repairman. (It would have cost more to fix it than to get a new one. ) I hate today's junky expensive machines. Give me the old work horses of yesterday that would keep on chugging for 20 or so years!
I almost let this goal go but dh prodded me to do it. We'll go shopping for a machine tomorrow.
***OK - I was on the fence on whether I wanted to get a Fitbit or not. But this morning I cannot find my Spark tracker anywhere. It wasn't in it's usual spot. I've scoured the entire room looking for it. I had the kids look for it. I've pulled out all the dirty clothes and looked in there, shaking each item of clothing out, just in case it fell in the hamper. I think this is going to push me over the edge to just getting a Fitbit. Then if I find the tracker, my son can use one and I can use the other.
I have to say that I'm really happy with the Fitbit. It seems more sensitive and is tracking all my steps. I was so surprised at how many steps it was recording that I actually retraced my steps on one walk and counted to see if it was recording right - and it was! Later I found my Spark tracker and will be giving it to ds to use which will be good for him too.
