Adding pictures at my heaviest isn't always an easy thing to share...

Tuesday, November 05, 2013

I wasn't brave at first to add photos of myself at my heaviest weight. But seeing so many others adding their photos gave me the courage to do the same. I see how excited everyone gets when they reach their goals and look back at their journey and all they have achieved. I want that feeling of success too! So I have added pictures at my heaviest and what I looked like before that weight.

let me tell you, I have lost 41lbs and maybe more( later today is my weigh in!) and I can not bring myself to be that brave. I dont have any good pics. The ones I have of me my heaviest, well, I look rough! Like not at all dolled up. So it is not only chubbsville but it is no make up no hair done, just plain terrible! I think I will use it once I meet my goal. It still makes me ill to see it though

    Thanks for your comments!

I was thinking the same for when I want to quit... look at those pictures to remind me not to revert back to old habits and be at that weight again.

Oh I hear you! Like you, I wasn't exactly 'excited' of exhibiting myself at my highest weight. However, I have kept the pictures there just as a reminder NOT to ever go back there again. emoticon

Don't have any on my page but have photo albums of the pictures at the house. lol. There is also one at my office on the wall, I walk by it and look at it everyday, always use it as a reminder to never go back. Sometimes I show it to people and they don't believe its me, then they ask "Where's the rest of you"? Never get tired of hearing that... emoticon

Always remember that no matter what you weigh, you are beautiful! Enjoy the journey but, don't forget that message.

Just remember it's beginning of your journey not end results.

The current picture I've found is October 2013 but only a half picture of me. I'll have to take a full body picture to see results.

Going to find a recent picture of me at my current weight of 125 pounds. My heaviest weight was close to 140 pounds at my petite height.

When I started SparkPeople on September 2013, I got serious about losing weight and eating better. I weighed at 130 pounds when I started on here. I have lost 5 pounds so far.
