Spark Coach - Motivation and commitment / challenge #1

Today's challenge was to get off our duffs! Do 3 things today that get you up off your bum and moving.
1. It was Monday so 30 chairs had to be set up around the tables in the library. Rather than taking one down and pushing it across the floor (as usual) I took 2 off the pile, carried them (1 in each hand)to their location and before I put them down I did 10 alternating bicep curls with them - for 30 chairs.
2. At the beginning of my lunch, which I take on my own. Instead of hitting the lunch room and going onto Spark I went to the body break room (for kids who have to move to get their ya ya's out) and bounced stepped for 5 minutes on the mini trampoline while holding and squeezing a Swiss ball.
3. After my 45 minute walk with my dog, coming home making supper, cleaning up the days dishes I hit the hot tub but instead of just sitting there I went through the arm motions of front crawl and back crawl. It felt good, I haven't swam for 15 years because of a shoulder injury causing immobility but with my yoga and TRX training I am feeling a much stronger, wider range of motion. My goal was to just get my arms slowly moving in that direction with no resistance so they can begin to remember what to do without pain. I would be ecstatic to swim even one length without pain because I would know that if I could do one, more could follow! I love swimming it is so meditative and strong.
The plan is to go to the pool tomorrow night for at least a few lengths of leg work maybe some side stroke and breast stroke (not my favorite) then a sauna.
