Hello everyone! This is my first blog here and I plan on doing daily blogs or vlogs.
Let me tell you all a bit about myself even though it is on my page! I am 25 years old(26 in December) and I cannot remember a time when I was skinny. As far as I can remember, I have been obese. I was teased, a lot, at school and just going outside. This caused me to quit school in the 6th grade after I was released from a mental health facility for attempted suicide when I was about 12. I did get my GED and graduated from college, but because of my childhood I have struggled a lot. Mostly, I have struggled with depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem. I am on medication for my anxiety and depression and have a hard time even going to the grocery store to buy milk. Because of my weight, I also have problems with my knees and joints because of the pressure.
However, I am extremely hopeful that this journey will help me overcome my health issues. I know it will be a slow process, but I know I can do it! My first goal is to lose 20 lbs which would put me at 240 lbs by January 2014. I know with dedication and hard work, I can make my first goal and many more after.
I was unable to start my workout today, but I am going to start, bright and early in the morning, my Focus T25 workout. I look forward to it and hope you all with join me on this journey to a healthier us!
