Clocks, clocks and more clocks

Monday, November 04, 2013

The questions came up yesterday:

Why do we, as a culture, have so many clocks?

Do you actually NEED them?

Do you actually look at them?

How much electricity (i.e. money) are we wasting by having so many clocks?

Also, does it drive you crazy when your clocks are not in sinc with each other?

I'm always in a "race" against a clock. Seems like always in a hurry to get to the next place...and so on. Maybe that's why some call it a "rat's race"!?!
And what about those cuckoo clocks!?!

We change our clocks twice a year for day light saving time. The car seems to be the most annoying to change. emoticon

DH collects clocks. We have an 1879 German wall clock, 2 grandfather clocks, mantle clocks, desk clocks, HD clocks.. they are everywhere lol.
