I always watch this, especially the route through Brooklyn - my home turf.

I watched most of it on TV and found myself crying at the start and at most of the 'human' stories they portrayed. It just gets to you, I guess it's inspiration or something. emoticon

"This is the best reality 'tv' not the stuff they put on tv. People can be really amazing. I'm glad they capture it in photos."

Hell YES!!!! I do not watch TV, but yesterday I made a point of it and I am so glad that I did. I would love to go and volunteer at one of these big races someday. I love volunteering at races. It is even more inspiring. (I think that I have become a runner)

It is really inspiring to view the responses of people to the marathon. Everyone gets excited. It's more than a race. I remember how time-life would print large photo books about important events. These pictures are of real people who all have their own story to tell. This is the best reality 'tv' not the stuff they put on tv. People can be really amazing. I'm glad they capture it in photos.
