#fit2feast day 4

So today was rough. I had a 1.1 mile walk this morning to the bus stop. took me 25 mins, I had the same walk in reverse in the afternoon to go home, which took me 30mins, and then I had to pick my son up from his grandmothers which was another .77 miles and was 30 mins. I hurt and I am tired. To make it worse I have to do this again tomorrow and My son's grandmother let him sleep until almost 6pm. he will not go to bed tonight so that means I wll be in bed late and still have to get up at 5am tomorrow morning.

    Not good. It's easy for grandparents to let them sleep - they don't have the end result. As a gran I try so hard to follow instructions, but it isn't always easy.

    emoticon I know it's rough. I remember the first time I had to walk any real distance after putting on all the weight, once I sat down I almost couldn't get back up! It will get better, every time you do it will be a little easier. Hang in there, sweetie.

    IMLOCOLINDA is right - this is temporary!! And even if you have to do it again tomorrow or all week, it's still temporary.

My unsolicited advice for the day - an Epsom salts bath. Sometimes a warm bath with all that magnesium can sooth achy muscles!!

    emoticon I don't have children but I know my friends are always telling stories of not enough sleep for 18 years. I hope you got your son to bed at a decent hour and got in some sleep for yourself. I'm proud of you for all the walking you got in today and will do again tomorrow. It will get easier. Your son will get older. You'll be healthier and more able to deal with the curve balls that life throws at you. Just hang in there.
