5. What demotivates you and takes you off your fitness and health goals?
Weather extremes push me off task from my fitness goals. Too hot or too cold and I have a battle on my hands to convince myself to get out and move. Family is what drags me off task with nutrition. Our family gatherings always revolve around food. It is usually pretty healthy, but the quantity is excessive occasionally.
The recipe for the black bean brownies is pretty simple. 1 cup black beans (3/4 cup black beans, 1/4 cup liquid), 3/4 cup sugar, tsp vanilla, one dark chocolate bar melted (70% cocoa), 3 eggs. Put everything in the blender. Grease the pan. Bake at 350 for 35-45 minutes, or test with a fork (fork should come out mostly clean... not completely). Similar in carbs to regular brownies, but higher in protein and fiber, and lower in calories. (Way lower!)
