Friday, Saturday and Sunday are a real problem...
This has been observed a million times before...but SO MUCH of socializing is centered around food and drink, never mind how easy it is to push goals that require self-restraint to the background while enjoying the mirth of good times with friends.
Once I've broken my commitment for the day/night it's a real challenge for me not to consider the day/night a loss and justify indulging cravings an order of magnitude more dramatically than if I hadn't been keeping it under control during the week.
Maybe I'll try planning before hand what kind of exceptions will be acceptable to allow for flexibility while limiting the damage so to speak?
I need to reflect on this a bit more.
