Good Morning; this weekend was refreshing and relaxing. Dh and I are avid puzzle do-ers. We both got to love puzzles as children but now we do it to keep our brains healthy. I have a 87 year old friend who does puzzles all the time and says it keeps her brain active. It is a great activity to do together. Talked to MIL this weekend. she quilts and I was mentioning to her that Addy's baby needs a quilt. She sent a homemade quilt for her baby with a blanket and pillow. Then she had a mini cabbage patch baby about 5 inches- she send that too with a pillow, blanket and quilt. She also included homemade doll clothes and diapers. She sent me this wonderful note that she thoroughly enjoyed making them. She did not sound all that well on the phone but in the note she sounded energized. DH & I decided to go and see her in the new year. DH does not take the time to call home without me reminding him. Really never understood this but once he calls he is pleased that he did. Talked to DS and he is doing well. He is happy and sounded mature. Had a wonderful call from DD and she is doing well. She is looking forward to coming home for Christmas. Have a good day. Going to the gym. Have a good day!!
I love to work on puzzles too, not so much my DH, but we always had one going when I was growing up, especially in the winter, when it gets to dark outside to play, this is what we did, with popcorn, or sometimes we just cracked nuts to snack on, good memories, glad you had a good weekend, and little Addy is so fortunate to also have a great grandmother 997 days ago
Here at the cooperative there is a room where at least one puzzle is being done daily, sometimes two. Many love to go and put pieces in, some for hours at a time. Haven't done any myself yet, maybe this winter when we try and minimize the times going outdoors. 998 days ago
