Day by day

Really there is no other way to reach our goals then by doing this day by day. Yes you can plan meals, exercise, or rest. You can't however plan how your day is going to turn out. That is up to you. My motto is one pound, one step, one day at a time. I love to walk. I think that is my go to exercise for cardio. I like the open space, the views, the sounds, even the scents of the seasons. So yesterday my daughter and I headed out for a bit of a walk with my grandson.

Sport: Walking
Distance: 1.28 mi
Duration: 34 minutes 28 seconds

Now this would normally be a 3-4.5 mile walk, but with smaller legs and such we had to cut wayyyyy back. Didn't take away from the exercise or the sensations walking provides. We shared some laughs and we relaxed. Isn't that what it is all about really? I mean if you don't enjoy the ride you will get off at the next stop and never get back on. I'm trying to enjoy this ride this time as much as possible.

I say this time because I've taken this roller coaster ride many times over the last six or seven years. But I don't know this time just feels different. I feel different. So I end today with a emoticon attitude and i'm heading off to begin yet another day, step and work on another pound loss.
