Classical pianist for entertainment today.

Sunday, November 03, 2013

Senior college concert was today. DH and I decided to go because this pianist we did enjoy last time we heard her play.
I was helping with refreshments and DH was having a good time seeing people who he has not seen in a while.

After the concert we went to the "99" restaurant and I had Baked Balsamic Salmon, Grilled asparagus and Tomato wedges and a big helping of Broccoli. It was an excellent meal.

For some reason there have been no Spark mail to read. I keep getting duplicate and triplicate announcements but they are all repetitive, it is tiresome.

I have been Sparking and trying to fathom why there are no e-mails to read it was doing well before we left but I know something is just not right.

I have tried to send goodies and it keeps saying Goodies not found, I gave up on them.
Sorry Spark friends I will have to try tomorrow,

The concert sounds like it was wonderful! Glad you had a good time. Sorry about spark. I've been so hit or miss on here lately - mainly trying to tracker and read some blogs but not much else. Hope things work out.

hugs...Mary Anne

I'm not giving up on you. I still read your blogs but i really don't care for the new spark page and not getting the things done i normally do. Hugs

What a great day you had!! BTW, the rice bags are a winter project.. Soon when we have the yard squared away and no more distractions, we will be filling and sewing again!!

I hope the emails and goodies work better for you today. That would be annoying. I didn't have time to Spark yesterday or for the past 2 weeks, so I don't know if I would have had the same trouble. It seems to be working for me just fine today. I hope it is for you too.
It was fantastic to read in your blog from last week that your eyes and glasses have improved! Congratulations! So exciting to read that.
I'm glad to hear you and dh are enjoying yourselves still:) Hugs!
I had a wonderful visit with my parents in Indiana the week before last. It was long overdue - I hadn't seen them in 3 years. So the quality time with them was much needed.
Coming back last week was overwhelming to catch up with work and regular life, that's why I wasn't around last week. I loved catching up with your blogs today, finally!
Have a great week, Pat!

Glad you enjoyed the concert. And the salmon sounds delish.

As for e-mail, ditto what MORTICIA said. I have a group of my own and it slows down considerably just prior to and during the holidays. AFTERWARDS . . . nutso.

Maybe check your e-mail preferences???

HUGS and here's to a good Monday.

The concert and meal sounded great.

I wonder if people are busy getting ready for the holidays right now. Sparkpeople usually slows down for a while and then is crazy after Christmas. My son said business was really good on Sunday as people had already started their Christmas shopping. I actually enjoy having less emails sometimes. There are often way too many. I feel overwhelmed when I get 200 sparkmails a day.

I'm glad you and DH enjoyed the concert and dinner. I've noticed that I do not get many SP e-mails anymore either. I thought it was something I did.

I think SparkPeople's computer system was having a nervous breakdown that evidenced itself on Sunday 3 November 2013.
Glad you had a great day, out in the real world.

Glad to hear of your enjoyment today. It is puzzling about the repeats. Spark has been making changes the past week and that always means interruptions. I also hope tomorrow will be better. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Is you real e-mail (Yahoo, G-mail, Hotmail etc) acting up or you mail here within SparkPeople? If it is your real e-mail then the settings got re-set with your e-mail and you have to go re-set them.
If it's SparkMail then people aren't replying to things.
