We still have a large bowl of Halloween candy and Birthday cake left but I'm not going to let that stop me. Tomorrow I need to really get on track. Eating better, exercise, and writing are the 3 things I need to work on.
When it comes to writing I panic and I hate everything I write. I come up with ideas and then see it later in a movie or book. BUT last month I entered a writing contest. It was a short one, 750 word count limit, and I was very happy with what I wrote. It was horror which comes very easy to me. The story Im having trouble with is a Fantasy/Supernatural/Mystery. I just need to sit down and write and remind myself of our I felt when write the short for the contest. So my goal is to write everyday. I want to write a short each month and spend 2 hours on my main story.
Like Ive said in almost all my posts, eating right is so hard in this house. The first thing I need to work on is portion control. A couple weeks later I need to work on eating more fruits and veggies. Then balanced meals and making smart choices.
Exercise. What can I say? I have no excuses to not do it. I just need to get up and do it. Out of everything this is the easiest of them all. I have DVDs, weights, bands, and this website. I even have a dog to go on walks with me. At the end of this summer I was doing good and walking the dog every day and then I just stopped. I think it was the weather, the rain, that made me just take her to the back to do her business. I need to get back out there. Walk her for 10 mins till she does her stuff and then I can walk myself later in the day for 30 minutes. I can work my upper body while sitting here watching TV.
I need to just do all of this and remind myself of why I am doing it. These 3 things are important to me. Tomorrow I am going to make sure that I change my life.
