I'm so excited for tomorrow! Friday my ex started a new job and tomorrow will be the first day he takes the bus to work. I drove him to work on Friday. He has to leave for work about 2 1/2 hours before I do and for me, they're going to be very productive hours. Tomorrow starts my morning workouts and what will hopefully be the first in a string of soda free days! I'm motivated and excited. It feels a little wrong, but oh so right at the same time. One step at a time....

I'm also looking into easy to prepare crock pot recipes. I've pinned a lot of recipes on Pinterest, so now it's time to organize them and get the ingredients. Coming home to dinner ready a couple times a week will be awesome!

I had an oncologist check up last week. I was not happy with my weight (of course), but was thrilled when the nurse thought I was 15 years younger than what I really am!! It was the best compliment! The great news from the appointment was that I've "graduated" from every 6 months to once a year visits!

I hope everyone has a great week! :)

Congrats on so many fronts for you! It's great to come home to meals that are basically ready to eat - that crock pot is emoticon !

Good luck with the crock Pot recipes, it is a great thing to come home to already ready meals. And good on you giving up the soda pop. I gave up pop a few years ago almost completely, for the last few years I would only have a ginger ale once in a while. Now I've even given that up. Now I find the taste of Coke or Pepsi makes me feel ill if I even try a glass. Every now and then I splurge with a bottle of ice tea, but sadly that is even worse than some pops. Trying to keep to water now as much possible.
