November 1 marked a year for me of getting back into exercising. Last year I was waiting for something to really motivate me to get working on my health, nothing came. I decided to start with a small goal of just exercising everyday for 10-20 minutes. That took a lot from me but I plugged along wanting to reach my goal of exercising a little each day of the month of November. At the end of the month I was feeling so much better, I had more energy for my life and my kids. So I set a new goal for December. Each month since then I have continued setting goals and adding more to improve my health and fitness. I have challenged myself and pushed myself and have discovered I can do more than I ever thought I could do. I ran my first 5k this year and found myself signing up for another one shortly after. My eating habits have improved significantly. I find I am eating more fruits and veggies. I am keeping a food journal of everything that I eat, which has helped me with weight loss. It has been a great year for me and I look forward to seeing what else I will achieve as I continue on this journey.
