Tomorrow begins week 8 on the carb cycling plan for me, which means I eat high carb (it's still hard for me to even get to 1500 calories for such as suggested for women) every day (It's called a slingshot week, and comes after three weeks of carb cycling low and high carb combo days), with a reward day, like today, at the end of that week. It's to rev the metabolism for the next few weeks of weight loss on whichever plan I do. I want to stick with turbo, but do classic (alternates low carb/high carb days) for the week of Thanksgiving so that I can have starches/fruit for the holiday dinner.
I almost feel like it's silly to do a slingshot week to rev up my metabolism, right after losing 2 lbs in a week, but I trust/know Chris Powell knows his science on all this, and will go for what is expected. :)
