Not long ago I set a goal to weigh 149 pounds by Thanksgiving. We're three days into November so that means there are only three weeks until Thanksgiving. Realistically, for me to weigh 149 by November 28th, I would need to lose more than 3 pounds per week to reach that goal. I know that goal is unattainable on that date. So what do I do with that? Modify the goal date; not the goal!
