Well, I’ve got a new routine now! A very dear Spark friend sent me two exercise DVDs. Jodi Stolove’s Life’s a Celebration and a Seated Tai Chi program. (And some new Pilates bands!) The videos are not as intense as my turbo chair workout, (although I was able to increase the intensity and up my heart rate by modifying the workout as I went along) but I desperately needed to have something different, to have some variety in my workouts because I was becoming so bored with them. For now, since I workout every day, I am going to continue my Turbo workout every other day to maintain my customary intensity and my new Jodi Stolove video for variety on the other days. I will continue using my exercise bike every day and doing my arm strength workouts as well. I will be attempting the Tai Chi in the afternoon. I will also still throw in resistance training and core training every few days. But it is going to be so nice to have different videos to do.
I still highly recommend the Turbo Chair workout. Its intensity is great…it just becomes a little too routine after several months of doing it every morning!
