Well we were on our way to the market this morning when I got a call from a fellow vendor telling me we need to get there asap as a truck had run through the two booths next to us and the angle it could be also in the side of our booths. Well a day vendor went to back into a space and apparently hit the gas and took out the support beam on her side, the support beams between the doors next to us and the support beam in the booth. Thankfully it was early and the lady next door was running late and we were also. Otherwise we would have all been working in the path of the truck. It destroyed 90% of the merchandise in the two booths. It did slightly buckle the wall in our booth but nothing was damaged, only the pictures on the wall were crocked. No one was injured, but we all feel the lady was on something as she showed absolutely no emotion about the whole situation She told someone she should just get in her truck and go home. Lots of stuff going on with clean up insurance claims and repair. We all stood around and gave hugs to each other as we were all safe and the only loss was material and replaceable.
