Visiting craft fairs

Saturday, November 02, 2013

This morning we went to craft fairs at two different churches. We had a good time seeing all the crafts people had made. I even resisted all the fresh baked goods being sold. One of the churches had fresh cinnamon rolls just coming up when we entered the building. Oh my! There were all sorts of temptations, but I didn't purchase any of them.

We did purchase two beautiful crosses that were decorated with marble designs. The one with the angel is for my mother-in-law for Christmas because she loves angels.

My husband offered to buy me this one when he saw me looking at it. Thanks honey. I love it.

All in all it was a good morning. I got lots of walking in, although I did have to use my walker. I first thought of taking my scooter, but decided to go ahead and use the walker and try to get more walking in. My legs did get worn out, but I managed to look through all the displays.

I love church craft fairs and rummage sales. I went to one yesterday and found two tote bags that fold up to look like eyeglass cases. Only $2.50 each, so I got one for each of my girls for Christmas. I'd love to be that creative.
