Blog Challenge- Day 3

Saturday, November 02, 2013

3. What is your big picture, long-term goal? Why is this goal the one you work towards?

My big picture goal is to maintain my weight and strength, so I am ready for my trip with my niece next summer. We have active plans which include sea kayaking near Vancouver, hiking on the Olympic Penninsula and along the ocean, wine tours in Napa, and horseback riding with friends near LA. If I regain weight then everything will be harder and we won't have as much fun. If I don't maintain my strength then I am in for a miserable time. I want to enjoy our trip! I may not get another chance like this to hang out with her for quite a while.

Today was miserable weather. Cooper is NOT interested in going outside for any length of time. I have taken him out 4 times already, and we haven't even covered 4 miles. The pup is not doing this cold rain!

I have a rescue jack russell too. She doesn't like to walk too far though even when she was younger. she goes about 1.5 a day and that's all she wants to do. Love you blog and your dedication to your goals. Your vacation next year sounds beautiful and fun. and will definitely be something to work towards!
