Success Is Inevitable

Saturday, November 02, 2013

I really feel Iíve found a great combination of items to work on / focus on for November (MOW-VEMBER) as all of it makes me feel energised. I am in my element this month.

I have spent 2.5 hours in the garden over the past few days and OMGosh! What a difference even that has made Ė I have so much green waste from pruning Iíve decided to start a stockpile in the back corner of the yard (which is hidden from most views).

So far I have filled up every single large container, garbage bin, tub etc that I own with green waste and also created a stockpile that already comes up to my thighs in height. Iíll eventually get rid of the green waste by filling up my weekly 240litre bin with it or composting it or a trip to the dump or a combination of all of those things! Either way I have a plan and am thoroughly enjoying the experience and I love seeing the green waste pile get larger because it is a visual symbol of achievement and me being the goal orientated character that I am, it gives me the warm and fuzzies!

Yesterday as well as doing some mass pruning and lawn mowing, I got the saw out and attacked some golden cane palms and really cleaned them up and it looks so much nicer and neater. If I keep going at this rate, Iíll have a botanical garden and will need to hold an open day viewing for like-minded nature enthusiasts! LOL

Today is Day 1 of the GM diet Ė I wasnít able to complete it last time, so I have embarked on it again so I can complete the 7 days in full - when I do things I like to do them right.

Since my premature cessation of the GM diet last Wednesday and embarking on it again today (Sunday) I have NOT been tracking my food and I know I have gone beyond my recommended calories on a few occasions Ė I weighed in 0.7kgs heavier than my lightest weight last week Ė I have no doubt this will come off and more during the GM diet. It has to because Iíve claimed the ďlost 15 pounds badgeĒ last week when I weighed in at 84.3kgs (thatís 6.9kgs lost since starting!), and Iím not giving that badge up in a hurry I can assure you! Itís mine! I earned it! Iím keeping it! So weight.... get into line!!

Have a wonderful day today everyone Ė if youíre looking for me, Iíll be in the garden relishing in my surroundings, just like a fruit bat!

Good morning Habitatvitality (well it is here anyway), It is great to hear that you are hanging on to your 'lost 15 pounds badge'. That is one that has taken a huge amount of discipline and determination to attain and it will not be long before it is consigned to history and you are claiming your next milestone badge.

I love your enthusiasm for your Mow-vember program and your visuals. emoticon

TTFN xx.

Congrats on the loss! My inner mother-hen is popping out with concerns about this diet, as it is lacking in so many nutrients on a daily level. Hopefully you have gone over your nutrients too these past days, giving your body a chance to stock up :) (Do you supplement on this diet?)

(Eeek, I will back off now, you are an adult, and it's only a week.. Enjoy your fruits! I'll close with the obligatory cheers and that will make up for me sticking my nose in your business?)
