I'm Back! Well, Sort Of~

So I haven't been blogging for awhile. I'm still working out, eating well and life's continuing, it's just that I got lazy. Yup, no other explanation than that! I've actually detached myself from everything electronic for a good bit. Felt good! I'm still kind of in the detachment mode but thought I would pop in and share some things that are going on!
My boys had an absolute blast for Halloween. My youngest kept saying that it was his best day ever. :) Now mind you, for the 5 years he has been alive, so far he has had 8 best days ever apparently (they all fall either on a holiday or his bday..) This is what they were for Halloween.
Friday, I finally received my Polar Loop! I've been wearing it all day today and I have to say, I like it! There are some things that I don't like, but overall, I'm quite pleased. I used my heart rate monitor this morning with my workout and the loop and the monitor worked beautifully together. Love seeing my actual burn rather than an estimated burn. My goal for the next 2 weeks is to burn at least 2000-2500 calories total (that's an all day burn and not an exercise only burn) and get in 1800 - 2000 calories. I'll also aim to get in at least 10,000 steps minimum.
I love the fact that the loop is waterproof and you can actually wear it in the shower if you want to. Plus, you never have to worry about it getting washed accidentally cause you wear it on your wrist. I have fairly small wrists but the loop fits just fine on my wrist. And with the sleep tracking capability, it shows that I have slept 7 hrs and 24 mins last night which is pretty accurate. I missed tracking things when my FitBit broke but now I can get back to counting steps and calories burned!
Can't believe it's November already. Remember this Sunday is Daylight Savings time so set your clocks back an hour! Hope everyone has a beautiful, fun weekend!
